Le Stelle dell’Intimo (Italy)
The competition entitled Le Stelle dell’Intimo was created in Italy in 1998 by Pisani Editore and organized by Linea Intima. The competition selects the best independent shops in the fields of lingerie, beachwear and hoisery, and its goal is to identify and reward the best Italian shops to set examples of reference for the entire profession. Over the years the competition has grown in notoriety and prestige, with the participation of the leading brands in the field, and high level sponsors.
BSA, Best Shop Awards (USA)
The success and value of the Italian competition led to the idea of exporting the project by the foreign editors of the Network Dessous group. An important segmentation of the U.S. market highlights the importance of independent retail in the States. In 2004 The Best of Intima launched the Best Shop Awards, with a Gala in New York, to identify the finest independent retail stores in the U.S.
Sterne der Wäsche (Germany)
In 2006 the important German market also entered the competition circuit. Sous organized the first edition of the Sterne der Wäsche competition. The initiative was a great success, starting with the prestigious Gala organized by SOUS in cooperation with Igedo in Dusseldorf.
Stars Shop Awards (UK)
In 2007 it was Underlines that launched the Stars Shop Awards for Great Britain. The competition was organized in cooperation with the top brands distributed in the country, and the first Gala awards ceremony took place in London In July 2007.
Participation
Participation in the competitions is free. To participate the shops must be nominated by the national jury consisting of the top brands in the industry, the most representative in every country. Our editors, founders of the project, participate with the brands in the selection of the shops for nomination. The votes of the jury during the final selection decree the winners, whose names are revealed during the Gala events held every year, for each competition, in prestigious locations.
The Awards
For all competitions the award presented to the winners consists of a mosaic sculpture produced by a contemporary artist to an exclusive drawing for Network Dessous.
The growing prestige of our competitions and the presentation of the stores nominated and the winners in the magazines of Network Dessous are all elements that contribute to give greater visibility and notoriety to selected stores, providing them with excellent opportunities for development.
